Jennifer Badoe

Jennifer joined the private midwifery team as matron in July 2021 and is passionate about leading her team to ensure patients receive evidence-based care that is not only safe but of excellent standards.

Jennifer has worked in various areas of midwifery with her most recent experience working as a community team leader for the last two years at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. The patient experience is of paramount importance to Jennifer and she is a strong advocate for women’s choice and ensuring that care is personalised and individualised. Jennifer has a keen interest in change management and quality improvement projects and is fully committed to improvement and innovative work that will benefit both staff and patients in her care. Together with the private patient team, they are committed to providing an excellent service that they are proud of.

Audrey Claxton

Audrey is a private caseload midwife who works with the private team on the Stanley Clayton ward. She has worked as a senior midwife for many years in different areas of the maternity unit and is very keen on giving continuity of care for the women booked with us to support them throughout their pregnancy and birth.

Audrey is passionate about informed choice and facilitating women to feel empowered and heard.

Audrey’s experience with working on the labour ward, high dependency units, theatres and also the birth centre has enabled her to feel confident in giving both uncomplicated and complex care to the women she looks after. She is also trained to undertake the baby checks that are needed prior to discharge home. Audrey is very happy to discuss the care needs and preferences of the women she cares for and guide them through the multitude of safe choices available to them. Every pregnancy and birth is unique and the care that she offers is individualised and specialised.

Annette Hamilton-McKetty

Midwife Annette Hamilton McKetty

Annette is a private caseload midwife who works alongside a small team of midwives to provide continuity of care and support for women and their families throughout their pregnancy and birth.

Annette has worked to support women and their families in a range of settings from home births, birth centres and obstetric wards. She has a keen interest in caseload care and is driven to ensure that women are supported and empowered to make informed decisions about all aspects of their care in both complicated and uncomplicated settings.

She is passionate about providing continuity through pregnancy and birth and has experience with case loading vulnerable women. Annette aims to provide a holistic birth experience and creating calm birth environments. She encourages and supports an active birth and is experienced in facilitating home births and water births.

Kelly Macfadyen

Kelly Macfadyen private midwife

Kelly is a specialist private caseload midwife who works alongside a small team of midwives to provide continuity of care for women throughout their pregnancy and birth. Her expertise to support both uncomplicated and complex pregnancy has been developed through working in standalone and alongside birth centres, homebirths and obstetric wards.

Kelly is passionate about informed choice and facilitating women to feel in control of their decisions around care. Her experience has enabled her to further develop in holistic care within pregnancy and birth such as Hypno-birthing and water birth. Through this she aims to provide a calm, positive pregnancy and birth experience.

Anfac Ahmed

Anfac is a private caseload midwife working alongside a small team of midwives and consultants to provide continuity of care for women throughout their pregnancy and birth and postnatal period.

Her expertise in caring for both high risk and low-risk women has developed through working in various maternity settings in London. She has research interests in maternal medicine and is passionate about evidence-based care. Whilst having experience in caring for high-risk women Anfac is also a keen advocate in promoting normality within pregnancy and birth. She is passionate about ensuring women have both the positive and safe birthing experiences they want.

Alison Brown

Alison has been a practising midwife for over 30 years’ gaining experience in all areas of maternity care along the way.

Alison is passionate about woman-centred care advocating and supporting choice throughout the pregnancy and birth journey. Her areas of particular interest are labour, birth and the postnatal period. Alison is a NIPE practitioner and have a level 3 baby friendly certificate in infant feeding.
