Ovarian cyst treatment

A medical team with vast experience

Our expert teams at both Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital and within The Lindo Wing at St Mary’s Hospital are highly skilled in ovarian cyst treatment.

In addition, Queen Charlotte’s & Chelsea Hospital is also home to the Imperial College Ovarian Cyst Clinic. The clinic is run by a medical team with vast experience in managing the treatment of ovarian cysts and other conditions of the ovaries. They work seamlessly with the surgical oncology team if there is a risk of cancer, and with other specialist teams if another condition requiring treatment is discovered.

The speed and accuracy of patient diagnosis, coupled with our highly skilled teams, have given us a reputation for achieving positive outcomes for our patients.

If you have symptoms that are suggestive of ovarian cancer – including persistent abdominal bleeding, feeling full after eating a small amount, and pelvic discomfort – we will carry out a high-quality ultrasound scan to establish the nature of the problem. If you have an ovarian cyst, we will use sophisticated imaging and diagnostic techniques to accurately determine if it is benign or malignant, in order to avoid unnecessary intervention, as most women with a cyst will not be diagnosed with cancer.

If you do have cancer, we will ensure your treatment starts quickly and is carried out in a specialised environment. At Imperial College Healthcare Private Care, we offer state-of-the-art facilities and a calm, modern environment designed to support a personal and holistic approach to your care.
