GP services

We offer a personalised GP service, where our private GP has immediate access to a wealth of knowledge through on-site healthcare experts.

With our clinic based within a large acute hospital – in The Lindo Wing at St Mary’s – you have the reassurance that all the 24/7 services and skills offered by an NHS Trust are within easy reach.

This means our private GP can have direct discussions with world-class consultants, surgeons and specialists on site at St Mary’s or at one of the Trust’s other hospitals. They can quickly seek advice or a second opinion, and access state-of-the-art diagnostic and testing facilities.

Being located within St Mary’s Hospital also means onward referrals are fast and straightforward.

For your convenience and peace of mind, we offer a flexible service. Our GPs carry out home visits and can arrange appointments at a time that suits you; same-day and out-of-hours appointments may be available. You will be given all the time you need to discuss your symptoms or health check in depth.

As well as offering general consultations about health concerns, our GPs offers the following services:

  • Blood tests
  • Immunisations
  • Travel vaccinations
  • General health checks, including ECGs, urine tests, weight control, cholesterol and blood pressure checks, and lung function testing
  • Well woman services, including family planning, cervical smears, breast checks and bone densitometry
  • Home/hotel visits – including out of hours, on request
  • Visa medicals and employment health checks

Our GPs provide a tailored, confidential one-to-one approach and follow-up. They will remain a consistent contact throughout your care, via email and telephone consultations – even after you have returned home if you live overseas.

You do not need to be resident in the UK to use our GP service.
