Biography
Vickie Lee is a consultant ophthalmic and oculoplastic surgeon at Imperial College (Western Eye Hospital and Charing Cross hospitals) and London North West Healthcare NHS trusts
Oculoplastics, or oculoplastic surgery cover a wide variety of surgical procedures that deal with the orbit, eyelids, tear ducts, and the face.
She has set up and is closely involved in multidisciplinary clinics and operating lists for orbital and thyroid eye disease in both trusts and liaises with her OMFS, ENT, neurosurgical, endocrinology and radiology colleagues to ensure optimum care for patients with complex disease.
She graduated from Cambridge University and St Bartholomew’s Hospital Medical School and underwent her basic ophthalmic surgical training at the Western Eye Hospital, her higher surgical training in London and her fellowship in oculoplastics at Moorfields Eye Hospital before taking up her consultant post in 2003.
