Mr Raymond Anakwe is a fellowship trained trauma and hand, wrist and elbow surgeon with military trauma experience.
Biography
Mr Rajarshi Bhattacharya completed his basic surgical training in the north of England and simultaneously obtained a master’s degree in evidence based orthopaedic studies. He then undertook higher training as a specialist registrar (Calman training scheme) in trauma and orthopaedics within the northern deanery, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
Subsequently, Mr Bhattacharya undertook specialist fellowship training in knee surgery at the Edinburgh Knee Unit followed by a trauma fellowship at the Edinburgh Trauma Unit, with a further fellowship in knee surgery at the Southampton Knee Unit.
In 2010 he was appointed as a consultant in trauma and orthopaedics at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and was subsequently appointed as honorary clinical senior lecturer at Imperial College, London.
In 2012 he was elected as the ASG (Austria, Switzerland, Germany) orthopaedic fellow by the British Orthopaedic Association. In 2013 he was appointed as head of trauma and orthopaedics at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.

Biography
Mr Jasvinder Daurka provides a tertiary service for hip, pelvis and traumatic injuries at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. He is actively involved in teaching and is a honorary senior lecturer at Imperial College London.
He lectures on national courses and internationally on pelvis injury management and complex hip reconstruction techniques.
Biography
Mr Dylan Griffiths is a dedicated shoulder and elbow surgeon treating the full range of shoulder and elbow problems, including major trauma. His NHS practice is based at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, one of London’s four major trauma centres. He also work for the military which had led to a significant amount of major trauma experience.
Mr Griffiths is able to provide either arthroscopic and open surgery dependent on the needs of the case. His background in semi-professional sport also provides him with valuable insight into the treatment of sports injuries.
Biography
Mr Gupte trained on the Imperial higher surgical training rotation in 2004-2008. He received his fellowship at Olympic Park, Melbourne and undertook further medical training at Oxford University where he completed his PhD research in in knee ligaments/menisci (meniscofemoral ligaments).

Biography
Mr. Gareth Jones is a Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon and Clinical Senior Lecturer in Orthopaedics at Imperial College London – a role that enables him to combine his cutting-edge research with clinical practice. He is a knee specialist, with the treatment of soft-tissue knee injuries and knee osteoarthritis being the focus of both his clinical and academic work.
Training Background: Gareth graduated from Imperial College London in 2003, with a 1st Class Honours degree in Physiology, and a Medical Degree with distinction. He completed his specialist orthopaedic training at Imperial College in 2017. During this time he was also awarded a PhD for his research into smaller, joint preserving, procedures to treat knee osteoarthritis, and the use of personalised 3D printed guides to improve the accuracy of knee surgery.
Knee Sub-specialist Fellowship Training: Gareth completed three highly competitive and prestigious fellowships. The first learning specialist knee replacement techniques, including same-day knee replacement surgery, at two famous orthopaedic centres in the USA with Dr. A. Lombardi and Dr. M. Berend. The second with some of the most pre-eminent knee surgeons in Denmark, France, Italy and Germany. The third a one year sub-specialist high volume soft-tissue and joint replacement knee fellowship at Guy’s and St.Thomas’ Hospitals, London.
Mr Alex Liddle

Mr Liddle graduated from Imperial College in 2004 and completed his orthopaedic surgical training in the North West London and Stanmore training schemes. After completing his DPhil (PhD) at the University of Oxford he was appointed as NIHR Clinical Lecturer at the UCL Institute of Orthopaedics at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital at Stanmore. Following subspecialist (fellowship) training in complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement in Stanmore and in all aspects of knee surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre in Oxford he was appointed as Senior Lecturer in Orthopaedic Surgery at Imperial College and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust in 2019.
Mr Liddle specialises in all aspects of knee surgery including soft tissue (sports) surgery, partial, primary and revision knee replacement, as well as hip replacement surgery. He carries out trauma surgery at the Major Trauma Centre at St Mary’s Hospital with an interest in periarticular and periprosthetic fractures around the hip and knee.
Mr Liddle has published influential papers in all the major orthopaedic journals and in general medical journals including the Lancet and BMJ Open. He provides expert review for the BMJ, the National Institute for Health Research and a number of orthopaedic journals, and is on the Editorial Board of the Bone and Joint Journal, the foremost orthopaedic publication in Europe. He has developed an international reputation for expertise in the field of partial knee replacement and has been invited to talk and write on the subject in the UK, Europe and the USA.
